🚨 London, Ontario Police Investigating Hit-and-Run – Public Assistance Requested
LONDON, ON (August 6, 2025) – Members of the London Police Service Road Safety Section are investigating a hit-and-run incident that occurred late last month.
On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at approximately 8:20 a.m., emergency crews responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding a male found lying in the middle of the roadway in the area of Cherryhill Place and Platts Lane.
Officers and paramedics located an adult male suffering from serious injuries. He was transported to hospital by paramedic services.
No vehicle remained at the scene.
Investigators are appealing to members of the public who may have been in the area of Cherryhill Place between Cherryhill Boulevard and Platts Lane between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, and who may have:
- Information related to the incident
- Dash-cam footage
- Residential or business surveillance video
The victim remains in hospital. The investigation is ongoing.

🚨 Enquête pour délit de fuite à London, Ontario – Appel à témoins
LONDON (Ontario), 6 août 2025 – La Section de la sécurité routière du Service de police de London enquête sur un délit de fuite survenu à la fin du mois dernier.
Le mardi 29 juillet 2025, vers 8 h 20, les services d’urgence ont répondu à un appel au 9-1-1 concernant un homme allongé au milieu de la route, dans le secteur de Cherryhill Place et Platts Lane.
Les agents et les ambulanciers ont trouvé un homme adulte grièvement blessé. Il a été transporté à l’hôpital.
Aucun véhicule n’est resté sur les lieux.
Les enquêteurs demandent à toute personne se trouvant dans le secteur de Cherryhill Place entre Cherryhill Boulevard et Platts Lane entre 8 h et 9 h le mardi 29 juillet, et qui pourrait disposer de :
- Renseignements liés à l’incident
- Enregistrements de caméras de tableau de bord
- Vidéosurveillance résidentielle ou commerciale
La victime est toujours hospitalisée. L’enquête se poursuit.
